1. Information we collect

• Contact details — name, email, phone number and Eircode when you request a quote or assessment.
• Property & energy details — property type, roof details, annual electricity usage, heating type and EV ownership, used to design and price your system.
• Survey information — photos and measurements of your roof, attic, fuse board and meter taken at the site assessment.
• System data — once installed, your inverter reports generation and battery data to the monitoring platform so we can detect faults.
• Website data — basic analytics and any details you submit through our forms.

2. How we use it

We use your information to prepare quotations, carry out surveys and installations, apply for your SEAI grant, notify ESB Networks of your connection, provide warranty and monitoring support, and contact you about your enquiry or installation. With your consent, we may also send occasional service updates — you can opt out at any time.

3. Legal bases

We process your data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations (including SEAI scheme and electrical certification requirements), with your consent where requested, and under our legitimate interest in operating and improving our service.

4. Who we share it with

Only where necessary to deliver your installation: the SEAI (grant applications), ESB Networks (microgeneration notification), our certified installation crews, finance providers (only if you request finance), and IT providers who host our systems under data processing agreements. We never sell or rent your personal data.

5. Retention

Quotation enquiries are kept for 12 months. Customer installation records, certificates and warranty information are kept for the duration of the warranty period and as required by law (typically 7 years for financial records).

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of or objection to processing, and a portable copy of data you provided. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
